Controversial musician Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has appealed to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for leniency if they possess any evidence of him mishandling the Naira.
He insists that his actions were never intended to deface the currency, emphasizing that he only showers money to assist the public.
During a recent Instagram live session, Portable expressed his reverence for governmental institutions, stating, “After God, it’s the government.
I’m not damaging the Naira. I simply aid numerous individuals. If you witness me distributing money, please pardon me.”
This comes after EFCC attempt to prosecute popular socialite Pascal Okechukwu, known as Cubana Chief Priest, for Naira abuse, following the imprisonment of crossdresser Bobrisky on similar charges.
