Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will pay an official visit to the state on May 8, 2025, to commission several major projects executed by his administration.
The governor made this disclosure on Thursday in Awka while addressing members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) during the 2025 Workers’ Day celebration. He highlighted the significance of the visit, noting that it reflects a strong and effective partnership between the federal and state governments.
Governor Soludo expressed pride in the projects completed under his leadership over the past three years and emphasized the importance of giving the President a warm and enthusiastic reception.
“This is proof that our administration is forging a partnership that works,” Soludo said. “I urge you all to give Mr. President a resounding welcome.”
Among the projects set for commissioning are the Solution FunCity, Anambra Country Club, the newly built Government House, Government Lodge, Presidential Lodge, and the Emeka Anyaoku Centre at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
