Tinubu Applauds Governor Soludo’s Visionary Leadership

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lauded the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, for his outstanding leadership and impressive strides in infrastructure development across the state.

The President, who arrived in Anambra on Thursday for a high-profile working visit, commissioned a series of landmark projects completed under the Soludo administration. Among the key projects inaugurated were the Emeka Anyaoku Center located at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, the newly constructed Government House, the Solution Fun City, and the expansive 8-lane Aroma-Government House Boulevard in Awka.

During the commissioning ceremony, President Tinubu expressed deep admiration for Governor Soludo, describing him as a long-time friend and a visionary figure in governance.

“I am honoured to be here today,” Tinubu stated. “I commend my friend, Governor Chukwuma Soludo, who is a visionary and competent leader, for the transformative work he is doing in Anambra State.”

Ahead of the President’s visit, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, Political Adviser to Governor Soludo, released an advisory urging guests attending the reception at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square to appear in casual attire. He specifically requested that attendees avoid wearing political party regalia or support group uniforms.

“This is to inform you that everyone coming to Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square for the reception of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today should be in mufti,” Obiogbolu stated. “Please, nobody should put on APGA clothes or Support Group uniforms.”

The event marked a significant moment in Anambra’s political and developmental history, reinforcing Soludo’s rising profile as a reform-driven leader and showcasing a spirit of bipartisan collaboration.
