In a strategic move to strengthen its dominance in Nigeria’s domestic fuel market, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has further reduced the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly referred to as petrol, to ₦825 per litre. This marks a ₦10 decrease from the previous rate of ₦835 per litre.
This latest price cut follows an earlier reduction last month when the refinery, which has a processing capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, lowered the gantry price from ₦865 to ₦835 per litre.
Industry sources, as reported by Vanguard, suggest that the downward adjustment is aimed at offering better value to customers and reinforcing the refinery’s competitive edge in the growing domestic fuel market.
