President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Wednesday, expressed a warm openness to the possibility of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, joining the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that although Wike has not officially become a member of the party, the APC would gladly welcome him whenever he chooses to make the move.
Tinubu made this declaration while commissioning the newly constructed Arterial Road N16, which stretches from Ring Road One (Nnamdi Azikiwe Way) to Arterial Road N20 (Wole Soyinka Road), alongside other road infrastructure projects in the Katampe District of Abuja.
Commending Wike’s performance and political strength, President Tinubu remarked that with Wike on their side, the APC would continue to experience joy and vibrancy. He further added that the presence and potential alignment of Wike with the APC would keep the party’s opposition unsettled and in discomfort.
