The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Stelconic Properties Limited, Chief Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor, has paid glowing tribute to fathers in commemoration of this year’s International Father’s Day.
In his heartfelt remarks made during a media interaction today in Awka, Chief Orjiakor extolled the virtues of fatherhood and emphasized the irreplaceable role that fathers play in building strong families and, by extension, a thriving society.
According to him, “Every child needs the presence, guidance, and support of a father figure to reach their full potential. The role of a responsible father cannot be overstated. Fathers are the backbone of the family structure, and their influence resonates far beyond the household into the fabric of society itself.”
He went on to highlight the broader societal impact of committed fatherhood, stating, “A society cannot prosper in the absence of men who are actively involved in their families and who embrace the responsibilities of fatherhood.
“We must use today’s celebration to honor the men in our lives, our fathers, brothers, uncles, and mentors for all they do in shaping both homes and communities.” he said.
Chief Orjiakor also used the occasion to make a passionate appeal to the men of Anambra State to rally behind the re-election bid of the Executive Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, in the forthcoming gubernatorial election scheduled for November 8, 2025.
He noted: “Governor Soludo has demonstrated exceptional leadership, foresight, and dedication to the growth and transformation of Anambra State. His achievements across various sectors speak volumes, and I firmly believe he has earned the trust and support of every well-meaning Anambra man.
“I call on all men across the state to come out in their numbers and throw their weight behind his re-election. He is the most qualified and visionary leader for the job at this critical time in our state’s journey.” he added.
It will be recalled that just last month, Chief Chukwuemeka Orjiakor publicly endorsed Governor Soludo’s second-term bid during a high-profile event held in Nibo, Awka. The occasion was attended by prominent stakeholders and political figures from both Awka North and South, as well as other parts of Anambra State, underscoring the wide-reaching support for the Governor’s developmental agenda.
As the nation celebrates Father’s Day, Chief Orjiakor’s message stands as a clarion call not only to appreciate fatherhood but also to uphold the values of leadership, responsibility, and civic participation.
