The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for 11,161 candidates who participated in the recent mop-up examination. This was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday evening by JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.
According to the board, a total of 96,838 candidates were scheduled to take part in the mop-up exam. While results have been successfully released for thousands, some candidates have reported being unable to access theirs.
JAMB clarified that the inability to retrieve results in such cases is due to non-compliance with the prescribed result-checking procedure. The board emphasized that candidates must send the keyword “UTMERESULT” (typed as a single word) via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the same phone number (SIM) that was used for their UTME registration.
Dr. Benjamin urged all affected candidates to strictly adhere to this instruction to enable them to access their results without issues.
