Soludo Rushed To Pack Into The Uncompleted Anambra State Government House Because He Is Panicking; He Knows He Will Lose The Upcoming Governorship Election To The APC – Uche Ekwunife

The Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State, Senator Uche Ekwunife, has accused Governor Chukwuma Soludo of rushing to move into the yet-to-be-completed Anambra State Government House out of fear of losing the upcoming election.

Speaking at her country home in Nri, Anaocha Local Government Area, while addressing APC supporters, Ekwunife declared that Soludo should prepare to hand over power, stressing that the Government House does not belong to him by birthright.

According to her, Soludo’s administration has failed in all aspects of governance from infrastructure development to the protection of lives and property. She noted that under the Nigerian Constitution, every elected governor has a four-year term, after which the electorate decides whether to renew their mandate based on performance.

“In Soludo’s case, it is evident he has lost touch with governance. That is why the APC has come forward as a credible alternative for Ndi Anambra to reclaim the state from APGA’s misrule,” she said.

Ekwunife further accused the governor of abandoning the task of delivering positive governance in favour of engaging in personal attacks. “Instead of focusing on the work he was elected to do, the governor has been going about lamenting like a child, repeatedly mentioning my name. We are not losing sleep over his rantings because the truth is, he has not performed well enough to deserve a second term. For four years, the state has been on autopilot,” she remarked.

She added that Soludo’s hurried relocation into the incomplete Government House was a clear sign of panic and an attempt to create the impression of progress, knowing fully well that defeat at the polls is imminent.

Ekwunife reminded the governor that government is a continuous process and that once one administration ends, another takes over. She insisted that the APC is offering Ndi Anambra a viable and capable alternative to the current leadership.
