Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola delivered a touching and emotional speech at the wedding of his daughter, Temi, where he shared heartfelt blessings and candid marital advice.
Speaking with visible emotion, Otedola praised Temi’s choice of a life partner, describing her husband, Tosin, as a “wonderful and blessed man from a very decent family.”
His most striking counsel, however, was directed at his daughter:
“Temi, one thing I must tell you is this — you must fully submit to your husband. He is your leader and your boss. From today, there is no more running back to daddy. This is your home now, and your loyalty must rest with your husband.”
The billionaire philanthropist went on to commend the love between the couple, describing their bond as genuine and heaven-made.
“You are truly in love with each other. Temi is an entrepreneur, Tosin is an entrepreneur, and together you are a perfect match. This union is truly made in heaven.”
Turning to his new son-in-law, Otedola encouraged him to embrace his entrepreneurial gifts:
“Tosin, you will go places. I have seen the entrepreneurial spirit in you, and it is remarkable. When we were younger, we thought we were sharp, but your generation is taking things further and it is already paying off.”
He further urged the couple to protect their marriage from external interference, advising them to handle conflicts privately.
“When challenges come, keep them within your home. Never run to friends or outsiders. Solve your problems together, and God will bless and strengthen your marriage.”
Concluding his remarks, Otedola expressed gratitude to the guests for celebrating with his family:
