Chief Chukwuemeka Orjiakor Joins APGA National Chairman, Hon. Dozie Nwankwo, and Other Dignitaries at Awka Catholic Diocesan Fundraising Ceremony, Donates ₦2 Million for Elderly Welfare Home

The Chairman and CEO of Stelconic Properties Limited, Chief Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor, today joined prominent dignitaries including the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, and Chief Emma Nwachukwu, at a high-profile fundraising ceremony organized by the Catholic Diocese of Awka. The event, which was chaired by Hon. Dozie Nwankwo, was dedicated to raising funds for the construction of a welfare home for the elderly and aged.

The initiative, described as the brainchild of the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Paulinus Ezeokafor, was widely commended as a noble effort to care for the aged, promote social welfare, and strengthen the Church’s role in humanitarian service.

In his characteristic show of generosity and commitment to philanthropic causes, Chief Orjiakor donated the sum of ₦2 million to support the project. This latest gesture adds to his long-standing record of supporting religious and humanitarian works across various denominations.

Addressing participants at the ceremony, Chief Orjiakor expressed profound gratitude to Bishop Ezeokafor for spearheading such a visionary project, describing it as a “beautiful and God-inspired initiative.” He further called on affluent Christians and members of society to join hands in supporting the construction of the home, stressing that such an effort represents a unique opportunity to give back to God by caring for His people.

Chief Orjiakor also seized the occasion to commend Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, the APGA National Chairman, for his visionary leadership and bridge-building approach across religious and denominational lines. According to him, this inclusive leadership style has positioned APGA as a truly people-centered party with a heart for service.

It will be recalled that in July this year, Chief Orjiakor openly endorsed Governor Chukwuma Soludo for a second term in office at a glamorous political event held in Nibo. The gathering attracted numerous stakeholders and party faithful, with Chief Orjiakor pledging substantial financial incentives for every polling unit that secures over 100 votes in favor of APGA during the upcoming election.

As the Anambra gubernatorial election scheduled for November 8th draws closer, political observers are keenly watching how Governor Soludo will fare against his challengers from the APC, PDP, Labour Party, and ADC.
