Mu’azu Jaji Sambo Declares Loyalty to APC, Backs Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda

The immediate past Minister of Transportation under the administration of the late President Muhammadu Buhari, Mu’azu Jaji Sambo, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), dismissing any speculation about defecting to another political party.

Sambo, who also served as the Taraba State Coordinator for the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) during the 2023 elections, made his position clear through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Dr. Sam Idiagbonya.

According to Idiagbonya, “Mu’azu Jaji Sambo goes nowhere; he is a core member of the APC. My principal firmly believes in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and he is confident that Nigerians will soon begin to enjoy the positive impact of this administration’s policies.”

He emphasized that after actively participating in the campaign that brought the current government to power, it would be unreasonable for Sambo to consider leaving the party.

“Having served diligently as the 2023 PCC campaign coordinator, it would be illogical to talk about decamping. Sambo is a loyal and principled leader who genuinely believes in the Nigerian project and remains a steadfast member of the APC,” Idiagbonya added.

Sambo also expressed optimism about the potential of Taraba State, stating that the state could play a significant role in achieving the Tinubu administration’s vision of a one-trillion-dollar economy, particularly through agriculture.

He urged residents of Taraba to remain committed, resilient, and supportive of government initiatives aimed at building a stronger and more prosperous state.
