Tinubu expressed confidence that the graduates had received comprehensive training both academic and practical that would enable them to positively influence Nigeria’s security landscape. He assured ongoing support for the academy, which he praised as one of the premier training institutions for police officers in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The President encouraged the new officers to prioritize national interests, fulfill their constitutional duties with dedication, and maintain vigilance in their service. He stressed that their actions would reflect on both the police service and the nation, and urged them to serve with compassion, integrity, and professionalism.

In his congratulatory message, Tinubu urged the graduates to serve with honor and respect for all Nigerians, emphasizing that their role as police officers extends beyond merely holding a certificate they are ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Service.

Earlier, the Commandant of the Academy, AIG Sadiq Abubakar, noted that the 478 graduates had been equipped with critical policing knowledge to enhance national security. He acknowledged the Federal Government’s substantial investment in their education, which has contributed to the success of the graduation ceremony.
