The Chairman of Stelconic Properties Limited, Chief Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor (popularly known as Onwa Nibo), has extended his heartfelt condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, following the demise of his father, Chief Sylvester Ezeokenwa.
In a condolence message issued by his media office on Friday, Chief Orjiakor expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the elder statesman, describing him as a cultural enthusiast, a man of peace, and a devoted progressive whose legacy transcends generations.
“I and the entire Orjiakor family join you in mourning the passing of your great father,” he stated. “Ezeudo was not just a devoted father to his children; he was a symbol of wisdom, peace, and fatherhood to many others. His life embodied humility, grace, and genuine leadership within the community.”
Chief Orjiakor emphasized that the late Chief Ezeokenwa’s revered title, Ezeudo, was far more than an honorary designation. According to him, it was a true reflection of the man’s character and way of life. “He was the living embodiment of peace, unmatched in character, irreplaceable in presence, and profoundly respected across various communities,” he said.
He further noted that the passing of Chief Ezeokenwa is a tremendous loss not only to the Ezeokenwa family but also to the broader APGA family, the people of Umuchu, and Anambra State at large. “His legacy of wisdom, peace, and service will continue to inspire present and future generations,” Chief Orjiakor affirmed.
Concluding his message, he offered prayers for comfort and fortitude for the bereaved family. “Once again, I extend my deepest sympathies to the National Chairman of APGA and the entire Ezeokenwa family. May God grant you all the strength and grace to endure this painful and monumental loss. Amen.”
It will be recalled that just last Sunday, Chief Orjiakor publicly endorsed Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo for re-election during a grand event held in his hometown of Nibo. The occasion, which was attended by prominent political stakeholders from Awka North and South, was seen as a strong show of support for the Soludo-led administration and a strategic move to rally momentum for a landslide victory in the forthcoming elections.
