The Managing Director of Stelconic Properties Limited, Chief Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor, on Saturday joined the faithful of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, Awka, to welcome His Lordship, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, during his pastoral visit to the parish.
In his remarks at the event, Chief Orjiakor encouraged Christians to wholeheartedly embrace the pastoral mission of Christ by living in obedience to God’s commandments and worshipping Him in truth and in spirit.
“As Christians, we must reflect Christ in our everyday lives. Our love for God should be evident in the way we support His work both within the Church and in our wider communities. God must come first in all that we do, and His commandments should remain our guiding principles,” he stressed.
The highlight of the pastoral visit was a Holy Mass celebrated by the Bishop, during which the Sacrament of Confirmation was administered to candidates. The event also featured the laying of the foundation stone for the Parish Church and Parish Hall Complex, marking a significant milestone in the spiritual and infrastructural growth of the parish.
