Isuofia Community Donates ₦200 Million as Soludo Receives Heroic Welcome Ahead of Governorship Poll

Governor Chukwuma Soludo received a rousing homecoming in Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, during the grand finale of his governorship campaign in the area — a celebration that turned into a carnival of unity and pride for his people.

In a remarkable show of solidarity, the Isuofia community donated ₦200 million to support the governor’s re-election campaign, marking one of the largest community contributions in the state’s political history.

Addressing the large crowd that gathered at the Central School Field, Governor Soludo urged residents to come out in large numbers and vote for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the upcoming November 8, 2025, governorship election.

“Election day is not just about choosing leaders; it is about shaping the future we desire for our children and generations to come,” Soludo said. “Across Anambra, they call us the consensus candidate, but your vote is your voice. On November 8, I urge each of you to make that voice heard.”

The event was filled with excitement as supporters danced, sang, and chanted in support of the governor. Soludo also spoke about the importance of grassroots participation and highlighted key achievements of his administration, emphasizing that the progress recorded so far was a product of collective effort.

“We have achieved a lot together, but there is still more work ahead. Your continuous support is crucial for us to accomplish even greater things,” he added.

Community leaders and influencers used the occasion to reaffirm their unwavering support for the governor. The President General of the Isuofia People’s Movement, Engr. Fidelis Okafor, alongside Engr. Ifeanyi Ifemelu and other stakeholders, publicly endorsed Soludo’s candidacy.

“As our son, Governor Soludo has always been approachable and attentive to our needs,” Okafor said. “His passion for grassroots development has not only improved lives across Anambra but also brought pride and progress to our community.”

Engr. Ifemelu added, “His leadership has made a tangible difference. We believe continuity is vital to sustain the ongoing transformation in our state.”

The homecoming event in Isuofia was more than just a campaign rally — it was a powerful demonstration of loyalty, unity, and community strength. With an overwhelming ₦200 million donation and solid support from his hometown, Governor Soludo heads into the election with renewed confidence and momentum to continue leading Anambra State.
