JUST IN: Chief Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor Appeals to Ndi Anambra to Re-elect Governor Chukwuma Soludo

The Managing Director of Stelconic Properties Limited, Chief Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor, has made a passionate appeal to Ndi Anambra, particularly the people of Awka North and South, to turn out in large numbers on Saturday, November 8th, and cast their votes for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) governorship candidate, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR.

Chief Orjiakor made this appeal in a recorded address released on his official Facebook page and obtained by Newday Reporters. In the video, he described the upcoming election as a defining moment for Anambra, saying: “The time is here, the moment has come.” With less than 30 hours to the polls and campaigns officially winding down by midnight, he urged Ndi Anambra to stand firmly behind the performing governor whose visionary leadership has transformed the state within a short time.

Highlighting Governor Soludo’s remarkable achievements, Chief Orjiakor noted that Anambra has witnessed unprecedented transformation under his administration. According to him, Okpoko, once a neglected slum, has been completely reborn into a modern urban settlement. Ekwulobia, he said, has evolved into a fast-growing city boasting a new flyover, a modern stadium, shopping malls, and an ultra-modern transport terminal. Awka North and South, he added, have benefited immensely from a network of quality and accessible roads.

Chief Orjiakor further commended the Governor’s people-oriented policies, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare.

He emphasized that under Soludo’s leadership, Anambra now enjoys free education, free antenatal and postnatal care, and free childbirth services across the state. For the first time in many years, Ndi Anambra also have access to potable pipe-borne water.

Speaking on youth empowerment, Chief Orjiakor lauded Soludo’s bold initiatives that have transformed thousands of lives. He cited the “One Youth, Two Skills” programme, which has empowered over 14,000 young people with seed capital and trained more than 50,000 others through the Solution Innovation District (SID). He also mentioned the Governor’s massive infrastructure drive, including the award of contracts for over 900 kilometres of roads, with more than 630 kilometres already completed.

In the health and education sectors, he recalled that Governor Soludo has recruited over 9,000 teachers and 1,000 medical personnel, built five new general hospitals, strengthened the state’s security architecture, and earned national awards for outstanding performance in governance, infrastructure, education, and healthcare, accolades that affirm his position as “the Light of Ndi Igbo.”

Chief Orjiakor concluded by urging Ndi Awka North, Ndi Awka South, and the entire people of Anambra State to rally behind Soludo and vote overwhelmingly for APGA in Saturday’s election.

He stressed that Soludo’s achievements are visible and verifiable proofs of responsible, responsive, and people-centered leadership, deserving of a second term to consolidate on the gains of the Solution Agenda and take Anambra to even greater heights.
