Three Youths Killed in Fresh Bandit Attack in Nasarawa

Three young men from the Migil community in Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State have been killed by suspected bandits, despite repeated government warnings against such attacks.

The tragic incident occurred along the Gidan-Raid Road as the victims were reportedly on their way to deliver news of the passing of an elder statesman to relatives in a neighboring village.

This latest assault comes shortly after a night raid in Sarkin Noma, a nearby community, where two other youths were killed and one abducted. The kidnapped victim is said to still be in the custody of the assailants.

Residents have expressed growing fear and frustration over the worsening insecurity in the area, calling for stronger government action and, in some cases, international intervention to curb the violence.

The three victims, all natives of Duduguru in the Jenkwe Development Area, were buried in a mass funeral on Tuesday morning amid tears and mourning.
