Prominent Islamic Scholar Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi Dies at 98, Northern CAN Calls for Unity and Peace in His Memory

Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi passed away on Thursday at the age of 98, according to information from his family. In a condolence message issued from Kaduna, Reverend Joseph Hayab, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the Northern region, highlighted the late scholar’s significant role in advancing Qur’anic education and moral discipline. He noted that Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi’s teachings have positively influenced generations of students and contributed greatly to fostering social harmony across the North.
