Two Israeli television networks have reported that a photograph allegedly showing the body of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was presented to United States President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to Channel 12, the image of Khamenei’s body was shown to both leaders. The report further claimed that senior Israeli officials were briefed on what was described as his “elimination.”
Israel’s public broadcaster Kan also reported that Khamenei’s body was recovered from the rubble of his compound, though no additional details were provided regarding the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident.
As of the time of filing this report, authorities in Tehran have not confirmed the death of the Iranian leader. There has been no official statement from Iran’s government addressing the claims made by the Israeli networks.
