The family of late Nollywood actress, Allwell Ademola, has released details of her burial rites.
In a statement shared online by her cousin and fellow actor, Muyiwa Ademola, the family disclosed that a series of commemorative activities have been scheduled to honour the deceased actress.
According to the statement, a service of songs will be held on Thursday, January 8, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This will be followed by a candlelight procession later that evening. The procession is expected to commence at 6:00 pm, starting from LTV 8, proceeding to Oregun Junction, and returning to LTV 8 by 7:00 pm.
The family further announced that Allwell Ademola will be laid to rest on Friday, January 9, at the Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.
Guests attending the programmes have also been advised on the dress code. The family stated that a customised T-shirt will be provided for attendees at Thursday’s event. For the burial ceremony on Friday, mourners are expected to wear white shirts paired with jeans, in line with the chosen colour code of white.
“The burial arrangement for Princess Allwell Ademola is as follows. On Thursday, a customised T-shirt will be provided at the venue. On Friday, for the burial, attendees are advised to come dressed in a white shirt and jeans. Colour code is white. Thank you all,” the statement read.
The family expressed appreciation to friends, colleagues, and well-wishers for their support and solidarity during this period of mourning.
