Israel Targets Iranian Missile Facilities in Tehran, Expands Strikes on Naval Assets

The Israeli military has announced that it carried out airstrikes on two naval cruise missile production facilities linked to Iran’s Ministry of Defence in Tehran.
According to a statement released on Wednesday, the Israeli Air Force, acting on intelligence provided by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), struck what it described as key sites involved in the development and manufacturing of long-range naval cruise missiles.
The military explained that the targeted facilities were responsible for producing missiles capable of striking both maritime and land-based targets with high speed and precision, posing a significant strategic threat.
It further noted that the latest operation marks a continued effort to weaken Iran’s military production capabilities, particularly in the area of advanced weapons systems.
The development follows an earlier announcement last week in which Israeli fighter jets reportedly targeted several Iranian naval vessels in the Caspian Sea. Among the ships hit were those said to be equipped with anti-submarine missile systems.
Israeli authorities maintain that the series of strikes is part of a broader campaign aimed at degrading Iran’s military infrastructure and limiting its capacity to project power across the region.
