The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, has expressed deep appreciation to Ndi Anambra for once again placing their trust in the party by overwhelmingly re-electing Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, as Governor of Anambra State in the just concluded November 8, 2025, governorship election.
In a statement issued and signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Tony Olisa Mbeki Ogbonna, and obtained by Newday Reporters, Chief Ezeokenwa described the victory as a resounding validation of the people’s unwavering faith in Governor Soludo’s visionary leadership and transformative governance style, one that has fundamentally repositioned Anambra on the path of sustainable development.
According to the APGA National Chairman, Soludo’s sweeping victory across all 21 local government areas and nearly all 326 electoral wards marks the most remarkable electoral triumph in the history of APGA since its founding in 2002. He noted that this unprecedented feat reflects the people’s deep conviction in APGA’s enduring principles of good governance, equity, accountability, and progress.
Ezeokenwa commended Ndi Anambra for their steadfastness, civic responsibility, and peaceful participation throughout the electoral process. He equally extended commendation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for upholding democratic ideals by ensuring a transparent, credible, and interference-free election in Anambra State.
While congratulating Governor Soludo, Barr. Ezeokenwa described him as APGA’s greatest asset and a beacon of purposeful leadership whose outstanding achievements and people-centered policies have distinguished him as a transformational leader. He emphasized that Soludo’s stewardship continues to reinforce the party’s unity, credibility, and growing public confidence.
