KAEDCO, NDPHC Seal Strategic Partnership to Boost Power Supply Efficiency

The Chairman of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDCO), Mr. Aminu Suleiman, and the Managing Director of Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), Engr. Jennifer Adighije, have agreed to deepen collaboration aimed at improving electricity generation and distribution across KAEDCO’s franchise areas.
The agreement was reached during a courtesy visit by Mr. Suleiman, alongside KAEDCO’s Managing Director, Dr. Umar Abubakar Hashidu, to the NDPHC headquarters, where they met with Engr. Adighije and members of the company’s executive management team.
Discussions at the meeting focused on exploring strategic partnerships and collaborative initiatives designed to strengthen power supply, enhance service reliability, and improve operational efficiency within KAEDCO’s distribution network.
Both organisations expressed confidence that sustained cooperation would deliver measurable gains in electricity generation capacity, distribution efficiency, and overall performance of the power sector in the short to medium term, ultimately improving service delivery to consumers within KAEDCO’s areas of operation.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to working closely to address sector challenges and support ongoing efforts to stabilise and expand electricity supply in the region.
