Opposition Leaders Hold Crucial Strategy Meeting at David Mark’s Abuja Residence After ADC Protest

A high-level meeting of key opposition figures is currently underway at the residence of former Senate President David Mark in Apo, Abuja, amid growing political consultations ahead of future national developments.
Among those in attendance are former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by David Mark, and senior members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under the leadership of Tanimu Turaki.
Also present at the strategic gathering are former Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami; former governors Rotimi Amaechi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Aminu Tambuwal, Peter Obi, and Babangida Aliyu.
Other notable attendees include former Minister of Information Jerry Gana and the PDP National Secretary, Taofeek Arapaja.
The meeting comes just hours after leaders of the African Democratic Congress staged a protest at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja, a move that has heightened political attention around the opposition’s next line of action.
The development is being closely watched as major opposition stakeholders continue consultations on issues affecting party leadership, coalition talks, and the broader political direction of the country.
