Chukwuma Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has emerged as the winner of the Anambra State governorship election, following the official announcement of results from all 21 local government areas by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
According to the final figures released by INEC, a total of 584,054 votes were recorded across the state. Soludo secured a decisive victory with 422,664 votes, far ahead of his closest rival, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 99,445 votes. Other contestants included the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with 8,208 votes, and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with 1,401 votes.
