Soludo’s Son Clears Hospital Bills for Patients Across Anambra on Christmas Day

Chinua Soludo, son of Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, brought relief and joy to several families on Christmas Day after settling hospital bills for patients in three healthcare facilities across the state.
The humanitarian outreach covered St. Joseph’s Hospital, Adazi Nnukwu in Anaocha Local Government Area; General Hospital, Nnobi in Idemili South LGA; and General Hospital, Ekwulobia in Aguata LGA.
At St. Joseph’s Hospital, Adazi Nnukwu, Chinua Soludo paid the medical bills of over five patients. Among the beneficiaries was a woman who had been detained after being discharged due to an unpaid bill. Her outstanding medical expenses, amounting to ₦933,500, were fully cleared, allowing her to regain her freedom and reunite with her family for the festive season.
At the General Hospital, Nnobi, he intervened in the case of a patient treated for acute malaria, settling a bill of over ₦120,000. The gesture enabled the patient to leave the hospital and celebrate Christmas at home.
The outreach also extended to the General Hospital in Ekwulobia, where 10 women received financial support to cover their medical bills as well as transportation expenses, ensuring their safe return home.
Beneficiaries and their relatives expressed heartfelt appreciation for the kind gesture, offering prayers for divine blessings, protection, and continued success for Chinua Soludo. Many described the act as a rare display of compassion and humanity, especially meaningful during the Christmas season.
This gesture is part of a consistent pattern of charitable outreach by Chinua Soludo. Around the same period last year, he similarly visited the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital in Awka, where he paid the medical bills of several patients, reinforcing his commitment to supporting the vulnerable.
