Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has said the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has recorded commendable achievements across all sectors of governance, despite the economic and security challenges confronting the country.
The governor made the remark while receiving the leadership of the Grassroots Advocacy for Tinubu at the Government House in Abakaliki. The delegation was led by the group’s founder, Mrs. Hanmo Akume.
Nwifuru said President Tinubu has shown courage, competence and strong commitment in steering the affairs of the nation, noting that the impact of the administration’s policies and programmes is visible across the country.
“I am happy with this initiative of mobilising support for our President because he has done very well. The positive changes introduced by Mr President are enormous and very evident. There is no sector where you will not see the impact of his administration,” the governor said.
He commended the group for its grassroots mobilisation efforts, describing the initiative as timely and capable of strengthening support for President Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The governor urged members of the group to intensify efforts to enlighten Nigerians, especially those at the grassroots level, on what he described as the monumental achievements of the Tinubu administration and the need to sustain them through continued public support.
Nwifuru also noted that the President has ensured inclusive governance by carrying every zone and state along in the distribution of federal projects and appointments.
“There is no state where you will not see federal government projects. This is the first time we are witnessing this level of inclusion in the country. Before the emergence of President Tinubu, there were no federal government projects in Ebonyi State. Today, Ebonyi has benefited from several projects and appointments,” he said.
He assured the delegation that President Tinubu and the APC would receive overwhelming support from the people of Ebonyi State in the 2027 general elections.
Earlier, the Director-General of the group, Prof. Ochugudu Achoda, said the delegation was in Ebonyi State to inaugurate the South-East chapter of the Grassroots Advocacy for Tinubu. He added that the group is committed to mobilising grassroots support for the President across the region.
