Global leaders have expressed concern following a shooting incident involving former United States President Donald Trump, strongly condemning the act and emphasizing the need for peace and democratic values.
Spain’s Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, denounced the attack, describing it as unacceptable and contrary to the principles of a civilized society. In a message shared on X, he stressed that violence can never be justified, adding that true progress for humanity lies in upholding democracy, peaceful coexistence, and mutual respect.
Similarly, Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, said he was deeply disturbed by the incident. He expressed relief that Trump, the former First Lady, and other attendees were unharmed. Sharif also extended his thoughts and prayers, wishing Trump continued safety and well-being.
