Tompolo Disclaims Issuing Ultimatum to FG Over Nnamdi Kanu, Says Report Is Fake

Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has dismissed reports claiming he issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to release the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

In a statement released by his Media Consultant, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, Tompolo described the circulating report as false and the handiwork of those seeking to tarnish his image.

“We wish to state unequivocally that Tompolo did not author or authorize any such statement. He has absolutely nothing to do with the issue of Nnamdi Kanu,” the statement read.

According to Bebenimibo, the fake publication was deliberately crafted by Tompolo’s detractors who are threatened by his ongoing efforts to curb illegal crude oil activities in the Niger Delta.

“It is clearly the work of Tompolo’s enemies who are desperate to discredit him because of his strong stance against oil theft and illegal refining in the region. They have failed and will continue to fail, as Tompolo remains committed to eradicating these unlawful activities,” he added.

Tompolo reaffirmed his loyalty and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration.

“We reassure the Federal Government, under the leadership of our dynamic President, that Tompolo stands solidly with him and remains committed to supporting his developmental agenda. He also reiterates his endorsement of President Tinubu for a second term and will continue to work towards its realization,” the statement concluded.

The public was urged to disregard the false report and treat it as baseless.
